Anita first fell in love with fitness 20 years ago when she was first introduced to group fitness and personal training. The self-confidence, fun and zest for life that came from that experience became the passion she used to shape her life and is now dedicated to sharing with others.

After 15 years of successfully running her own Corporate Fitness business, Anita has now decided to extend her expertise to The Hourglass family.

Six years ago while Anita was preparing for a Fitness Competition, she was following a high protein diet and body-building style of training that left her lean and muscular, but also hungry and unsatisfied with her shapeless boy-like figure.

Anita did not like the fact that she was allowed to eat artificial sugars in foods like diet pop, gum and sweeteners but not allowed to eat whole foods like quinoa or fruit. She had intense cravings and did not feel healthy although looked extremely fit.

Fortunately during this time, Anita discovered Lyzabeth’s style of training that allowed her to regain her lean, shapely and curvy female body and introduced her to wholistic, clean eating.

During a difficult period of life, ending in divorce, the hourglass workout was empowering to Anita. It gave her the self-confidence needed to push herself to her personal best. Anita wants to provide this same program to women and give back, create a strong, positive female fitness community that supports one another to live holistically and always love your self to great health.
