vanessaaBuilding on her longstanding dedication to healthy and active lifestyle development, Vanessa completed her Yoga teacher certification and specializes in an athletic style yoga with a focus on both strength and recovery.  Her interdisciplinary style is based on alignment and using yoga, pilates and movement patterns to find more strength, speed, agility and health in her clients’ training programs. She designs programs and classes for both the everyday athlete and as well as high performance athletes (including players in the CFL, Volleyball and Squash Canada as well as off season NHL) applying these techniques as a compliment to sport specific or weight training goals. Vanessa is a certified Hourglass Workout Instructor, has completed specialized training in core strengthening and is certified in Joga, Yin Yoga, Kids Yoga and Pilates.  Vanessa is also currently pursuing her nutrition certification and is an avid runner and run coach. She is proud to be a part of the Hourglass community of women who both challenge and support each other through every sweaty session, burpee after burpee.  As a member Lyzabeth’s Hourglass team, her goal is to help you move freely, aligned and strong in everything you do, both in class and everything you love to do.
