    Hey,

The Hikari looks better to me.

Just be sure that you don’t boil the water with the miso in it.

The natural probiotics in it will be killed if the water is too hot πŸ™‚

you found chocolate with 0 grams of sugar that doesn’t taste like bark? lol… please share how it tastes! I like the 90% by a local brand. I assume at 90% it must be low sugar. I’ll share next time I’m at the grocery store. I just don’t remember off the top of my head. I know it’s a mint flavor and tastes good for 90%, promise. It’s Tyson’s fave.

    Hey πŸ™‚

Great question. I think if you’re doing the Hourglass Challenge follow along workouts, you’re good in following them in the order that they’re sent. The suggestion that I made is if you were choosing workouts more a la carte/mix&match style. So, you’re good with the way you’re doing it now. Just make the commitment to stick to the 4 times a week. woot woot! xo

I love that you started when you were ready and have a plan. That’s how you do it!

I like the 3L mon-fri, and 2L on the weekends when you’re not working out. It gives you a system to stick to that works in your life. I love that you found water bottles that you like. I think that’s important as it’s part of your routine or ceremony. If you enjoy it and like your tools, it helps you stick to it. Let us know how it goes. xo

    HI πŸ™‚
You can buy the brand Calm (calcium and magnesium) drink mix. You can also just take a magnesium before bed, or you can skip if you sleep well and feel you’re getting adequate cal/mg already πŸ™‚ If not, it’s a fun one to add and tastes sweet, so it feels like a snack during sugar cleanse, lol. xo

    Hey Charlene,

Great equipment! 12’s are an awesome addition!

Next big purchase would be the heavy kettlebell for deadlifts/squats! This is really good though.

Yes, fit test will be the next call. @Kaitlyn will be letting everyone know so they’re prepared to workout.

The week after we can do form checks as part of a general check in and motivation. So excited to start. I’m ready to go too! woot woot!

    SLEEP CHALLENGE has been added!

We are continuing our water challenge and now adding on a sleep challenge.

To add on the sleep challenge, I’d like you to do 2 of the following new activities to help improve your sleep. Here are some options:

    – Stop screens an hour before bedtime

    – Read before bed

    – Add orange or red tone night lights to your bathroom, so you don’t need to turn on the lights at night

    – Go to bed before 11 pm

    – Add magnesium before bed (check with your doctor first)

    – Get outside for a walk to get your morning sun 30-60 minutes from waking (no sunglasses or anything that will block your eyes from the sun. Sunscreen is fine. *Must be outside, not behind any type of window.

    – Move your workout to the morning

    – Take a cold shower or add one minute of cold to the end of a morning shower

    – At night, take a warm bath or sauna at bedtime

    – Make your bed cooler – lookup tools like the Chili Pad

    – Switch out your bed linen to breathable fabrics (bonus marks for organic)

    – If it’s time, switch out your mattress to a high-quality mattress example: Obsana, Nutripedic, Purple, Avocado

    – Incorporate deep breathing and or meditation to your daily practice.

    – Read any of the following books: Why We Sleep, or The Circadian Code

The above are just a few ideas to improve your sleep. You can start with two and slowly but surely add as many as you like. To get the daily check mark, you have to add at least one (even if it’s the same one every day).

Please share your own ideas and resources as well. Let’s do this as a team We’ve got this!!

    Hey there,

The plans are similar, with the difference being that there are modifications to the classic plan to support those with hypothyroidism, so it’s the same plan, with modifications that will only apply to those with hypothyroidism in the eating plan and supplements. I hope that helps πŸ™‚

    A haha! fair enough.

You could also try a month of holistic reset followed by another month of sugar cleanse and then have a better idea of what felt good and what didn’t to start to build your maintenance plan πŸ™‚

    Hi,

Not yet. I always start with the Classic when creating a new plan. Once it’s complete, I create the Vegan and then Vegetarian. Sorry, it will be a minute. You could use it and put in subs for protein sources, or stick to Sugar Cleanse, FBC or Vegan plan for now.

    Hey!

    Honesty, it’s up to you.

You could stay with it as many people do it for three months or longer if you’re enjoying it.

You could try a week of the Holistic Reset (keeping it at the same calorie level that was working for you). Holistic Reset is from 1700-1800 cal/day. If you’re not feeling it, you could switch back after.

I think what I want to do with everyone is once they’ve finished Holistic Reset/Sugar Cleanse or FBC, is to work with you guys on creating what you’re plan will be after that so there is a plan set on how to maintain and how to continue to incorporate skills learned through these plans. We’ll do a focus on this on our Tuesday calls.

Let us know what you decide, or if you want to talk through it πŸ˜‰
